Membership Requirements
  • Be of at least 19 years.
  • Attend (classroom) First Aid course, lift evacuation training day, and on-hill training (toboggan handling)
  • Pass written and practical first aid and on-hill exams
  • Be willing to Patrol a minimum number of duty days (the number depends on the mountain, but approximately 13-20) on either weekends or weekdays, assist with at least one fund-raising event and patrol at at least one summer event.
  • Posses an average skiing or riding ability for the mountain you patrol at (the skiing ability requirements are slightly higher for Sun Peaks and Silver Star than Harper).
